Consider yourself at home
Tir y Coed is the perfect spot for a reunion or a family get together. The house has 7 bedrooms to choose from, mostly with super king beds that can also be set up as twins. It’s about having space to spread out, peace and quiet when needed, and lots of adventure possibilities within a few miles: mountains, waterfalls and glacial lakes (we can offer suggestions for a suitable itinerary).
Tir y Coed makes a great base camp for family or friends ; forget the usual logistical issues putting people up without causing a claustrophobic catastrophe. You’re even going to be able to sneak off to watch Bake Off without being interrupted, provided it’s not been locked-down.
Whether you are planning an adrenaline-filled break, a special anniversary or an annual get together, you can have the place to yourself (other than an office at the back of the kitchen and the basement that remains for staff access only)
The choice is yours
We don’t impose a one size fits all policy but try to keep things simple. Cook your own breakfast or we’ll cook it for you. Bring your own booze and practice your bartending skills behind your very own bar or we’re fully licensed so we can host it for you. We aim to be flexible so that you shape your holiday the way you want it.
A holiday should mean just that, so we will keep the place clean and tidy while you are off exploring. A holiday at Tir y Coed gives you a real break; all you need to worry about is what you want to do and where to eat. Whether you’re with family or friends, just escaping for a few days or a couple of weeks, we aim to make your stay a memorable one.
Tir y Coed is a great place for a party and because drinking without eating never ends well, we can arrange our own Home Baked Pizza or in the winter months we can arrange a group supper. If you let us know well enough in advance, we can organise outside caterers to cook anything from a hog roast to a three-course dinner.
